Tune in to the New J’s Morning Show, Monday through Thursday, from 6 to 9 am! Three hours of biblical music with news on the bottom of the hour, weather outlooks, lively banter as well as reading scripture and prayer encourages listeners as they drive to work or school or begin their morning chores at home or begin their workday at their office. Fun facts, “On This Day” and lots of laughing together with spiritual challenges and facts on creation make listening to “Breakfast With Brown and John“ both hard-hitting and fun.
Charlie – Station Manager
I was born in Cagayan de Oro City, we’ll just say sometime ago, I graduated from West City Central Grade School, Pilgrim High School and a technical course in radio. I worked for a few years at a few different sales jobs before Christ called me to preach the gospel. Then I graduated from Baptist Theological College in Cebu and came to minister at The New J!
My day is not complete without driving you home with POSITIVE CHRISTIAN HIT MUSIC from 3-6 pm Monday to Friday. I’m a basketball playing addict on weekends (yet never win, hehe). But my passion in life is to win souls for Jesus Christ. My heart cries knowing people die without Christ in their hearts. If you are interested to know more about Jesus, we, at The New J are excited to teach you about a true relationship with HIM.
Levi – Computer Tech.
Hi!…. my name is Levi John a 35 years of age, recently residing here at Cagayan de oro city. I have two kids: a girl (2)years old, and a boy (1)year old, and my beautiful wife, Annaden. I graduated as a computer technician at SIAM Foundation Inc. Before I knew about The New J, I taught computer fundamentals at SIAM and PWU. When I was 12 years old, I started my ministry as a Drummer in our church. The New J is a part of my ministry by helping them as a computer technician and assisting with DJ programming.
Levi “Lee-vee” – Intern
I am Levi, 19 years old from Cabacungan, Negros Occidental. I’m your DJ Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3pm. I got so excited when our FEd Director assigned me in a radio ministry. This is something new to me as a Bible School student knowing that we are usually doing mission work, church planting, and other church activities.
God is awesome that He uses the airwaves too, to minister to people. People who lost their way and even believers who want to grow more in their faith. The New J Ministry reaches out to people who are hungry, feeding them with music and programs that lead them to Christ. The New J also encourages them to attend church services, Bible Studies, and prayer meetings. As a fellow servant I am excited to see that thousands more souls will be blessed by His grace through the ministry of The New J.
The Wally Show
I am Wally, and contrary to popular belief I did not come up with the name, The Wally Show. I am not a pastor or counselor. I am a guy who did mainstream radio shows for 13 years till God got a hold of me and brought me here. I am not perfect, and I definitely still have some edges. I am a person, like you who is trying to consistently live out my faith on a daily basis. Some days I succeed and some days I fail. I ask questions to start conversations and, other times, cause I honestly don’t know the answer. I realize this show is not for everybody, but it is for someone everyday. I have seen God use the serious as well as the silly things we do to change lives and that is the goal of this show.
The bottom line for me is… if you are the kind of person who hears the Bible verse “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,” and you look for cover, instead of a rock, you’re going to love this show. So don’t just listen; be part of The Wally Show.

The Melissa & Matt Show
Melissa never quite fit the traditional Christian mold… she’s a self proclaimed Martha Stewart wannabe who is married with a fabulous 6 year old daughter and crazy dog. Matt’s a former hippie choir boy with a lot of love and a little bit of crazy. He is happily married to his first sweetheart and they’re enjoying the adventure of raising three boys. The Melissa & Matt Show tackles real life issues, real life questions and some really funny answers. It is always honest, always real and never judgmental.
